About SNETP Scientific Committee

The scientific committee is a consultative body composed of at least one representative of each pillar and experts representing different technical domains.

Activities:

  • Drafting of technical/scientific documents (roadmaps, position papers, state of the art papers, etc)

  • Preparing the technical programme of SNETP events

  • Promoting cross-cutting and harmonisation initiatives

  • Suggesting interactions and cooperation on technical/scientific issues at both European and international level

  • Supporting the monitoring of the project portfolio

  • Reviewing technical publications resulting from the portfolio projects

  • Representing the association at technical/scientific conferences and events worldwide

Governance

The three pillars appoint at least one representative to participate in the Scientific Committee meetings. This committee meets at least twice a year. The meeting minutes and decisions are recorded by the Support Office.
