Mutlimedia on Nuclear Reactor Physics
Multimedia on Nuclear Reactor Physics (MNRP) is a multimedia course designed to improve education and training in nuclear reactor physics. Developed in 2001 by Javier Dies, Francesc Puig and Claubia Pereira, with the support of ENEN, the IAEA and SNETP, it has since been used by around 6,758 users in more than 134 countries. The latest version (9.0) will be made available in six languages: Spanish, English, French, Arabic, Chinese and Russian. Its 13 chapters, cover everything from an introduction to nuclear energy and neutron interactions to reactor kinetics, control rods and neutron sources, and two self-assessment tests let learners check their progress. Whether used by teachers in lectures, by students for independent study, or for training in nuclear power plants, MNRP offers a clear, interactive way into the fundamentals of reactor operation.
