As the IAEA is working to facilitate sharing of relevant experience in fission technology to benefit the fusion community in technology development for electricity production, the purpose of this event is to provide a forum for the exchange of information as well as to present an up-to-date review of activities related to synergies in technology development between nuclear fission and fusion for energy production at the national and international levels.
