The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and the Jožef Stefan Institute, as members of the European Nuclear Experimental Educational Platform (ENEEP), are organising the training course „Train the trainers“ that will take place from 28 August to 7 September 2022 at three ENEEP partner institutions, i.e. STU in Bratislava, BME in Budapest and JSI in Ljubljana.

The aim of the course is to demonstrate the capabilities of the ENEEP platform to organize compact joint courses at several institutes as a showcase of the ENEEP platform for young trainers and university teachers, who can bring their findings back to their home institutes and present them to their students who can attend the new courses and E&T activities in the future.  Therefore, the course is aimed at trainers from industrial companies, university lecturers and professors teaching nuclear engineering, nuclear physics, or numerical simulations. It is also suitable for teachers and lecturers of power engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering involved in education programmes including subjects related to nuclear engineering or nuclear power plants.

Since the “Train the trainers” courses is still organized from the funds of the ENEEP project, the selected participants from eligible countries can attend the course for free and will be given a support of 1950 EUR to cover the costs related to attending the three venues. Participants for non eligible countries will be charged a course fee of 4 500 EUR.
