The H2020 PASTELS project will be hosting its Final Symposium on May 23rd-24th, 2024 at EDF Lab Paris-Saclay, France. The PASTELS Final Symposium, as the final event of the project, seeks to present the results of the project and its perspectives after 4 years of work. 

PASTELS aims to significantly increase the knowledge in Europe on innovative passive systems, particularly the Safety Condenser and the Containment Wall Condenser. The studies on these systems are carried out experimentally and numerically with different test facilities and computational tools from several European partners. In this context, systems and CFD computational codes are tested to assess their ability to accurately model key phenomena such as natural circulation loops and condensation. Registrations are mandatory and available through this form up to April 8th, 2024. Agenda and confirmation of attendance with logistic information will be available at a later stage.
