Event Description:

In 2020, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) launched the Webinar Series on Nuclear Technology Breakthroughs for the 21st Century as an additional resource supporting the IAEA Member States in strengthening their capacity building and advancing their knowledge on current and future sustainable nuclear energy. This webinar focuses on science and technological advancement of SCWRs addressing relevant gaps and challenges. International experts will present different SCWR technologies and will address the current R&D status focusing on the gaps and major technology challenges, and also will talk about the approaches that have been less current.

The webinar series are aimed at a wide range of participants including engineers, physicists, chemists, researchers and scientists, students and professors in developed countries as well as those embarking on or considering nuclear power programme development.
