The SNETP Coordinators’ hub day took place in Brussels on March 14th, 2023 as part of the SNETPFORWARD project. The event was co-organized by SNETP and brought together around 50 participants, both onsite and remote, representing 28 R&D&I projects. The attendees engaged in a productive and enriching discussion with various European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) – Euratom representatives.
The morning session kicked off with a panel discussion where seven project coordinators of ongoing Euratom projects shared their experiences, best practices, and the challenges they face. They also had the opportunity to interact with EC colleagues and seek solutions to their recurring difficulties.
The panelists shared their personal motivations for being project coordinators, highlighting their commitment to the project and the passion required to manage the high workload. They also spoke about how they found partners for their projects, often through their own EU scientific network and SNETP, which is a common practice in the relatively small EU nuclear R&I community.
The SNETP Coordinator’s hub day was a great opportunity for project coordinators to connect and learn from each other. To learn more about the event, you can read the full document down below.
