SUMMARY:SNETPFORWARD SMEs Webinar
DESCRIPTION:As part of the ongoing EURATOM project (SNETPFORWARD)\, and in close collaboration with the European Commission representatives EURATOM- fission\, SNETP is very pleased to invite you to be an active participant in the SMEs Webinar. The webinar will take place on 3 May from 2:00pm to 5:30 pm (see agenda) and will be hosted on Teams. We invite you to register before April 26th and complete the questionnaire to help us better understand your specific needs for submitting a proposal. \nThis meeting is organized for all SMEs members for SNETP to understand their needs and maximize their participation in European collaborative projects. The different EU funding opportunities open for SMEs as well as good practices will be presented by EC representatives and the SNETP Secretariat. This will be an opportunity to discuss the main barriers for SMEs to participate in EU collaborative research and will allow us to co-build solutions to increase your impact. We encourage you to participate in the event as big companies will also be present. It will be a perfect time to share your thoughts and needs. \nSNETP expertise and services will be presented to members as support for future opportunities. SUMMARY:APAL Advanced Workshop Procedures for integrity assessment of RPVs subjected to PTS loading
DESCRIPTION:The APAL project will hold an advanced workshop on “Procedures for integrity assessment of RPVs subjected to PTS loading” on 11 and 12 May 2023 both online and in person in Ljubljana\, Slovenia. \nAPAL’s main goal is to formulate a best-practice guidance for deterministic and probabilistic reactor pressure vessel (RPV) integrity assessment considering improved methodologies and also recommendations for the assessment of long-term operation (LTO) improvements\, in which advanced methods assessed in the project (both deterministic and probabilistic) are described. \nThe workshop is thus dedicated to advanced methods for weld residual stress (WRS)\, warm pre-stress (WPS)\, thermal-hydraulic (TH) analysis\, probabilistic analysis and LTO improvements on pressurized thermal shock (PTS). \nMore information here.

DESCRIPTION:The SNETP Forum 2023 will be held  at Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg\, Sweden\, 15 – 17 May 2023. \nSNETP is an international association (AISBL) composed of around 110 members from 25 countries\, gathering nuclear power plant operators\, research centres\, nuclear industry and technical support organizations. The association has been supporting the creation and the implementation of R&D programmes since 2007.
