DESCRIPTION:SNETP is delighted to announce the next edition of the SNETP Webinar Series\, on 26 September 2025\, 13:00 CEST\,  which will showcase HEXANA\, a dynamic CEA spin-off and proud France 2030 laureate.  \nFounded in 2023\, HEXANA is developing an ambitious Generation IV energy platform that combines sodium-cooled fast modular reactors with thermal storage solutions. This innovative approach aims to deliver flexible\, reliable\, and low-carbon power\, making it a key enabler for the decarbonisation of CO₂-intensive industries.  \nWhat to expect from the webinar  \nThe session will provide a closer look at HEXANA’s mission and technological vision\, as well as its most recent achievements and partnerships. Attendees will also gain insights into the company’s current R&D priorities and the areas where collaboration is both possible and encouraged.  \nMeet the speakers  \nThe webinar will feature two leading voices from HEXANA:  \n\nPaul Gauthé\, Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of HEXANA. With over 15 years of experience at CEA working on sodium-cooled fast reactors such as Phénix and ASTRID\, Paul brings extensive expertise in both technical innovation and policy perspectives. \n\n\nNicolas Zweibaum\, Deputy CTO. A graduate of École Polytechnique and UC Berkeley\, Nicolas has worked internationally on advanced nuclear technologies and previously played a pioneering role at the U.S. start-up Kairos Power. His experience spans nuclear system design\, regulatory processes\, and large-scale test campaigns. \n\nTogether\, they will share how HEXANA is shaping the future of safe\, sustainable\, and innovative nuclear solutions in support of Europe’s energy transition.
